Nisha Javeri - The Beginnings:
The passion for a healthy living and luxurious tastes drove me to travel and this in turn put me in sync with my own personal destiny. I was always an athlete and a competitive swimmer in School which in turn has helped me make healthier choices.
I enrolled in the CIPTAC and CIDESCO course to empower and educate myself about the field of beauty and wellness. I was honoured to attend the International Spa Summit, GSS (Global Spa Summit) to understand the International Wellness & Beauty Industry. I also participated and headed the chair on discussions about the Indian Wellness Spa Industry, interacted with foreign heads of spa & hospitality Industry and learnt about the Global Spa business and international trends. Being a recognized player, I was invited to make a presentation about the Wellness Industry in India and was also invited to be on the panel to discuss Quality & Gradation in the Spa Industry at the FICCI wellness seminars/conferences.
Nisha Javeri ‘The Entrepreneur’:
After thorough research and study of the field, I finally decided that the very fast and stressful city of Mumbai had a definite need for a standalone luxurious day spa and thus came into being-MYRAH Spa.
Nisha Javeri Today:
I am a dedicated entrepreneur and have set up a Management team that is constantly striving to make sure everyone is firmly and consistently aware of the importance of the ‘spa guest experience’. I focus on constant in-house up gradation of skills and knowledge of the therapists in sync with global spa standards and myself conceptualize the uniquely different and constantly changing ‘spa menu’ in terms of therapies across the board that offers the guest various pampering ways to keep themselves looking great and feeling good.
